I tried a few aftermarket options, but I prefer the original M&P ones. They seem more reliable in my experience. Anyone had different results?
I’ve been using the M&P 15-22 mags for about a year now, and I’ve noticed some improvements after adding extensions. They definitely increase grip and control during rapid fire.
That’s great info, Angela! I tried some aftermarket springs, and I think they improved reliability, but the loading can be a hassle.
I’ve found that the M&P mags tend to be pretty durable, but the plastic can wear over time. I switched to aluminum ones, and it’s been a game changer for stability!
Interesting! Have you experienced any feeding issues with the aluminum mags?
The only downside I’ve noticed with mods is that some upgraded parts might not fit perfectly, leading to jamming. Always check compatibility before upgrading.
I’m still using the stock M&P mags after a year and haven’t had problems yet. Maybe I’m just lucky? I think those upgrades might not be necessary for everyone.
Or maybe you just haven’t pushed the limits yet!
Using a loading tool has made things way easier for me. No more sore fingers after a long session. Highly recommend checking one out!
Loading can be a workout, for sure! But I sometimes enjoy that manual labor. Keeps us fit!
