Need Help with Crimson Trace Free Batteries for Life Program

The CR2016 batteries are a bit cheaper, but their performance drops significantly with heavy usage. Just something to consider!

I just got some of the newer models, and the battery life has been impressive! If you can afford it, I recommend going for the CR2032.

What about the rechargeables? Are they eco-friendly or just an inconvenience? I’m curious if anyone has switched to them successfully.

The rechargeables are a mixed bag. They can be convenient, but sometimes they don’t hold a charge as well as the disposables. I prefer disposables for reliability.

I’ve had a great experience with the CR123 batteries too! Just make sure to check if your device supports them. They pack a punch!

That’s great to hear! I wasn’t sure if they were compatible, but I’ll double-check my device specifications.

For heavy usage, I wonder if anyone here has experimented with extended-life batteries? Are they worth the investment?

I’ve tried a couple of extended-life options. They definitely have better longevity but can come at a price.

I’m glad to see this conversation happening! It’s nice to share trials and tribulations with battery life. It feels like the unsung hero of our gear.

Absolutely! Honestly, I once bought the wrong batteries, and I ended up on a wild goose chase. So glad to have clarity now!

I love the idea of comparing batteries, but I can’t help but feel it’s a bit over the top. They all seem the same on the outside!

I get that perspective, James! But sometimes those little differences can make a big impact during critical moments.

If I had a nickel for every time I bought batteries only to have them die on me, I’d be a wealthy person. At least with the ‘Free Batteries for Life’ program, there’s hope!

I’ve been using Crimson Trace for over a year, and the batteries have performed well. I’ve only replaced them twice during that time! Very reliable.

That’s great to hear! I’m curious, do you find any difference in battery life between different models?

In my experience, the batteries have been solid! I haven’t had any major issues, which is a big plus considering I use them often.

That’s reassuring to hear! Did you take advantage of the ‘Batteries for Life’ program when you made your purchase?

I’ve had a couple of issues with leaks in older models, but overall, their performance has improved significantly. Just keep an eye on them!

Interesting! Do you recall the specific model? It might help others avoid it.

I’ve had no issues with the newer models. They really seem to hold a charge longer. It’s so refreshing to see quality improvement!
