Looking for Buck Knife Pocket Clip Recommendations!

I’m on the hunt for a reliable pocket clip for my Buck knife, and I could use some advice! I’ve been using my knife for various outdoor activities like camping and hiking, and I find having a good pocket clip really enhances functionality, especially when I need quick access while on the move.

Here are a few questions I have:

  • What are the best Buck knives that come with a pocket clip right out of the box?
  • For those who have customized their Buck knives, which pocket clips have worked best for you?
  • Are there any specific models that you would recommend for outdoor use?

I’m looking for something durable and functional, as I often carry my knife during trips. Any suggestions or experiences shared would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance for your help!

I’m looking for a Buck knife with a pocket clip, too! I’ve heard great things about the Buck 110 and Buck SpitFire. Any recommendations based on actual usage?

You won’t go wrong with the Buck 110; it’s a classic! The SpitFire is also nice for everyday use, especially if you prefer something lighter.

What about the Buck 112 Ranger? I’ve seen people rave about it, and it has a pocket clip too. Anyone used it for outdoor activities?

I have the 112 Ranger, and it handles outdoor tasks well! It’s strong and remains secure in the pocket thanks to the clip.

I love my Buck 110! Perfect for daily carry. Just a heads up, the body can be a bit bulky if you’re looking for something slim.

That’s true, but if you need a robust knife, it’s worth it! Did you ever have issues with the pocket clip loosening?

I haven’t had any issues with my clip. However, I’ve read that some users have modified the clips for better security. Anyone here tried that?

I tried modifying mine, and I just ended up breaking it! Perhaps it’s best to stick with Buck’s designed clips.

That’s a bummer, Dianejohnson! As for lighter options, I’ve heard the Buck 365 is great. Anyone used it?

The 365 is awesome for everyday carry! It’s slim and fits well in my pocket.

I’ve been considering it! Is the blade size manageable for tasks like opening boxes?

Definitely, the 501 has a good blade size for everyday tasks! I like that it doesn’t feel overboard for casual use.

Have you guys ever thought about the Buck 722? It’s stylish, yet practical. However, I’m not sure how durable it is compared to others.

I own a 722 and can say it’s held up impressively! Just be cautious—it can slip out of the pocket if not secured properly.

Haha, maybe Buck should sell their knives with extra clips! I’d buy one for sure! Seriously though, clips can be an issue if not designed well.

Hey everyone! I’m looking for some tips on how to keep the pocket clip on my Buck knife in great shape. Any advice?

One of the best ways to maintain your pocket clip is to regularly clean it with a soft cloth and some rubbing alcohol. This helps remove grime and prevents corrosion.

What’s everyone’s thoughts on using lubricants? I heard some people recommend silicone spray for pocket clips. Any experiences?
