I’ve been planning a camping trip to Crooked Run Campground, located within Prince Gallitzin State Park in Pennsylvania, and I wanted to gather some insights before I finalize my plans.

I’ve read some great things about this campground, but I’m looking for more personal experiences. What are the amenities like? I heard there’s WiFi, which is somewhat important to me. Is it reliable out there, or is it more of a ‘disconnect from the world’ kind of experience?

I visited Crooked Run Campground last summer! The hiking trails are incredible—some lead right to beautiful overlooks. Definitely recommend the Blue Mountain trail for gorgeous views!

I agree! The wildlife viewing is also fantastic. I saw deer and a variety of birds. It’s really a peaceful area.

I found Crooked Run to be a great place for kayaking. The nearby river is easily accessible and perfect for a day out on the water. Bring your own kayak for the best experience!
