Anyone tried Korkers Terror Ridge Wading Boots?

Absolutely, ghunter! I’ve spent hours in them, and they remain comfortable throughout. The cushioning is excellent, and I’ve had no issues with fatigue!

How do they compare weight-wise to other boots? I’ve used some heavy ones in the past that really wore me out.

The Terror Ridge boots are significantly lighter. I weigh them against my old pair, and it’s like night and day! Definitely easier to move around in.

Heavy boots really can put a damper on your fishing experience! It’s good to know these are more manageable.

Have you all had any issues with the drainage? Some boots can collect water, making them feel heavier. What’s been your experience?

Great question! I haven’t noticed any weight issues with water. They drain well, which I appreciate after long wades. No sloshing around in these boots!

I’ve actually heard a few complaints about durability. Some say the sole wears down fast; is that true?

I think it really depends on your fishing environment. I’ve had no issues, but I primarily fish on rocky bottom rivers, and others might have different experiences.

That’s a good point! Maybe I’ll test them in varying conditions before making a final call.

I’ve also found them surprisingly supportive. My ankles tend to roll easily, but these boots keep me stable even on tough terrain.

What do you all think about the looks? They may be practical, but I want to avoid being the fashion faux pas of the river!

I think they look pretty slick! Fashion is subjective, but I feel stylish enough while fishing. Wear what suits you!

I’ve been using the Korkers Terror Ridge boots for over a year now, and they’re incredibly durable! I’ve walked through rocky streams, and they show minimal wear. Definitely recommend them for any serious angler.

That’s great to hear, katiegordon! How do they perform in wet and cold conditions? I’m looking for something that can handle winter fishing.

I’ve had mine for six months, and they’ve held up well in both heavy rain and snowy weather. I suggest applying a waterproofing spray for extra protection!

Good tip, christopher23! Do you use any specific brand of waterproofing spray, or just whatever is available?

I use Nikwax, kevin98. It’s great for maintaining the waterproof lining after some wear. Clean your boots after each use to prolong their life.

I’m considering buying these boots. Do they provide good ankle support as well? That’s crucial for me since I often fish in uneven terrains.

Absolutely! I’ve never rolled my ankle while wearing them, even on rocky trails.

I’ve had a bit of a rough experience. After about three months, my soles started to come loose. I expected better durability from Korkers.
