Where Are Cold Steel Knives Made? Let's Talk Quality!

I wonder how their customer service compares. It’s great to have a quality product, but support matters too. Anyone had any experiences?

I once had a minor issue with a blade and they handled it promptly. Their support team was friendly and helpful, which I appreciated. Keeps me a loyal customer!

I’ve been using Cold Steel knives for over five years now. They are incredibly durable, even after heavy use. The AUS-8 steel really holds an edge well. Highly recommend for anyone in need of a reliable blade!

That’s great to hear! I’ve had my eye on the Cold Steel Recon 1. Do you think it’s a good choice for everyday carry?

Absolutely! The Recon 1 is a beast. I’ve used mine for everything from camping to daily tasks. It’s held up like a champ!

I’ve had mixed feelings about Cold Steel. Their products are typically high-quality, but I’ve received two defective knives before. Customer support was helpful though, so it balanced out.

That’s unfortunate! Did you get a replacement or a refund? I wonder how common that is.

I got replacements, and they’ve been great ever since! It’s good to know that they stand by their products. I’ve loved the durability of their fixed blades as well.

I once used my Cold Steel Tanto to slice through a thick cardboard box and it went through like butter! Their knives definitely perform well under pressure.

Funny story, I tried to use my Cold Steel knife to cut a pizza. Let’s just say I should stick to kitchen knives for that job! They are too sharp for that job! :joy:

Haha, that’s classic! But seriously, how would you rate the Chisa and how it holds up against your other knives?

The Chisa is impressive! It’s lightweight but still feels robust. I’ve used it for camping and cooking, and it hasn’t let me down. I’d say it’s equal to my other favorites in quality.
