That’s true! I feel like the sweet spot for ethical hunting is 200-250 yards max. Beyond that, things get tricky if you’re not a steady shooter or don’t have a great load. Safety first!

I once took a shot at a nice buck at 250 yards and missed! It taught me the value of range estimation. Felt a bit silly, but it’s all part of learning.
We all have those moments! Laughter is often the best medicine for missing a shot! At least you had the skill to get close. The .450 Bushmaster does have a beautiful kick and can make it worth your while.
