What’s the Best Scope for 100 Yards?

I’ve had great luck with Vortex too! They seem to offer the best bang for your buck.

Don’t forget to enjoy the process! Mounting and zeroing can feel tedious, but the satisfaction of a well-placed shot is worth it. Adds a shot of espresso to my ammo case!

I think for 100 yards, you can’t go wrong with a Vortex Crossfire II. I’ve had mine for a year, and it’s been super reliable and clear. Plus, the price is reasonable!

I agree! Vortex has great performance at that price. But have you tried the Nikon ProStaff? I hear it’s also pretty good for that range.

The Nikon ProStaff is fantastic! It offers great clarity and has held up well for me. Just watch out for its slight weight; it might be cumbersome for some.

Have you guys tried the Leupold VX-Freedom? It’s a bit pricier, but the durability and light transmission are stellar for those distances.

Honestly, if you shoot regularly, the Leupold is a good investment. Just remember, you often get what you pay for in optics! But, if you’re a casual shooter, the Vortex or Nikon might suffice.

I’ve read about that model. Is it really worth the extra cash? I’m a bit budget-conscious.

For 100 yards, anyone tried the Bushnell Trophy? I’ve heard good things but also seen mixed reviews on durability.

I had one! The clarity was decent, but I had issues with fogging. It might not be the most reliable for all conditions.

It sounds like we have a range of experiences! I’m really curious if anyone has a humorous story about their first time using a scope?

Oh man, I zeroed my first scope and then couldn’t hit a barn door! Turns out I was looking at the wrong target the whole time!
