OnX Offroad vs OnX Hunt: Which One Should I Use for My Outdoor Adventures?

Both apps have their strengths, but I found OnX Offroad more user-friendly for planning off-road adventures. The map layering feature makes route planning intuitive.

Yes! I’ve faced loading issues too. It can be frustrating in the field. I’m hoping they improve the app’s speed in future updates.

I use OnX Offroad mostly and have had some challenges with GPS accuracy in dense forests. Have others noticed this?

Yeah, GPS can falter in heavy cover. I sometimes switch between both apps to see which one has better accuracy at a given spot.

I tried both OnX Offroad and OnX Hunt. I found that OnX Hunt had more detailed mapping for my hunting trips, but Offroad was better for trail navigation. Pricing-wise, both are competitive, but I believe you get what you pay for.

Yeah, I second that, OnX Offroad provides great community features! The maps are clear, and navigating trails has never been easier. Worth every penny for me!
