There’s a train station in nearby Sevierville, but it’s limited on schedules. It’s good for scenic rides, though! You could rent a car or taxi from there to the knife works.

Totally agree! But for now, it seems like getting a rental car from the airport is your best option.
But who wants to drive when you can sit back and relax on public transport? Though I suppose that’s easier said than done when you’re carrying a bunch of knives!
