Looking for the best knock off GoPro - Budget options?

Yes, the Crosstour CT9500 has decent battery performance. You can shoot for about 90 minutes before it needs a recharge. Definitely a good match for the price!

For someone just starting out, do you think it’s worth investing just a little more in something like the GoPro Hero Lite instead of these off-brands?

Honestly, if you’re on a tight budget, I would stick to the knock-offs. They offer a lot of value for the price!

I have the Akaso Brave 7 and I really enjoy it! It has good stabilization and it’s waterproof without a case. Totally worth its price!

That’s awesome! How’s the 4K quality? Any noticeable lag in playback?

The 4K quality is pretty solid for the price, and the playback is smooth! Just don’t expect top-tier GoPro features. It’s great for casual adventures.

I think the funny thing is how many brands claim to be the ‘GoPro killer.’ I wonder how many actually hold up to that claim!

Haha, right? It’s like claiming to be the ‘iPhone killer.’ But hey, we should go for what fits our needs!

What do you guys think is the most important feature when looking for a budget action camera? Stabilization? Battery life? Or maybe the ability to shoot in different conditions?

I’d say stabilization is crucial if you don’t want shaky footage. But you really have to balance all features according to your use case. What’s your plan for using it?

I’ve tried a couple of knock-off GoPros and the Akaso Brave 7 is my top pick. The video quality is impressive for the price, and it’s held up well in my adventures.

This is great to know! I’ve been looking at the Akaso as well. Did you find any issues with the battery life?

The battery life on the Akaso is decent, but I recommend getting an extra battery. It really makes a difference, especially on longer trips.

I agree with you both! I had a similar experience with the Akaso. Its build quality feels pretty solid and it survived a few drops on my hikes.

I’ve been using the Dragon Touch Vision 3, and though it’s not as robust as a GoPro, it’s performed surprises in smoothness and quality! Plus, it’s super budget-friendly.

Thanks for sharing! How is the customer service for that brand? I’ve heard mixed reviews.

Customer service for Dragon Touch has been hit or miss. I once had to wait a week for a simple response. Their product is good, but support could improve.

That’s a bummer. I guess saving money comes with trade-offs sometimes.

I was skeptical about knock-offs but the Vantop Moment 3 has blown me away. Super smooth video and a decent stabilization feature.

Nice! Was it easy to set up and start recording right away?
