Looking for an ATN Thor LT Review - Share Your Experiences!

Absolutely! I had to practice a bit before I became comfortable. Any tips for mastering the controls faster?

I have used the ATN Thor LT in various outdoor activities, and it works wonders for spotting trail animals during the day too! If you’re doing any outdoor hikes, it’s a reliable tool.

That’s exactly what I’m looking for! I wanted something versatile for hiking and night excursions. Does it handle foggy conditions well?

Foggy conditions can be a bit challenging, but I’ve found that using the enhanced modes helps! Just don’t forget to adjust the focus depending on the distance of your target.

Thanks, I always forget about those modes! I appreciate the heads-up. How about the durability? Any field drops or bumps?

Durability is solid! I’ve accidentally dropped mine a couple of times, and it still functions well without any noticeable damage.

I had a different experience, to be honest. Mine had some issues after just a minor fall. Might just be luck of the draw? Anyone else experience this?

That’s frustrating to hear! I hope it’s just a rare case. I’ve stayed careful with mine after hearing stories just like yours.

Has anyone used it for night vision photography? I’m curious how it holds up for capturing images beyond hunting!

I nailed some great shots during a night shoot! Just know that the thermal heat signature might give some odd color balances in photos—definitely unique, though!

I’m really interested in the ATN Thor LT too! I’ve heard good things about its lightweight design and user-friendly interface. How does it compare with others like the FLIR Breach? Anyone tried both?

I have the Thor LT and I can say it performs well for the price. The FLIR is pricier but offers better resolution. Worth considering what you need most!

Had a chance to try the ATN Thor LT during a night hunt. It’s pretty solid! Battery life could be better though, had to recharge mid-session. How are others managing that?

That’s true! I’ve seen similar issues with thermal scopes across the board. The pricing for the Thor LT is attractive but does that compromise durability?

Great point, Bethany! The price is definitely a plus, especially for those new to thermal scopes. I’d say the overall value for money is decent, though. How does the ATN warranty stack up against its competitors?

In my experience, ATN’s customer service can be mixed. I had issues with my previous model. Is the Thor LT a substantial upgrade? What features stand out for you?

I’ve found it to be much better than my old scope. The clarity at night is impressive for the cost. A bit bulky compared to others though!

I read that the Thor LT has a decent software interface. How does that compare hardware-wise against others in the same price range, like the Pulsar models?

The Pulsar has great optics; however, the Thor LT’s features make it user-friendly for beginners. Personally, I love the intuitive controls!

It’s a bit of a mixed bag. Thor LT’s weight is good for long hikes, but some reviews mention it feels less sturdy than other models. Thoughts on that?
