How to Install a Clamp-On Gas Block for Your AR-15

For sure! I’ve found that even a slightly loose screw can throw things off.

I’m curious, what signs should I look for to diagnose gas block issues post-installation?

Look for excessive bolt carrier movement or failures to eject. These can indicate gas flow problems.

Is an adjustable gas block worth it? I’ve heard mixed reviews, but it could help with tailoring gas flow.

In my experience, yes! It allows you to fine-tune for different ammo or suppressor use.

I remember the first time I installed one. I thought I had it all right until the first shot went off and jammed. Lesson learned!

That sounds frustrating! I’ve been there, it’s much better to go slow and triple-check everything.

If your gas block isn’t lined up well, you might as well be throwing darts! Alignment is key.
