Best Recoil Pad for Browning Citori?

I heard some folks recommend using J-B Weld for the installation, any thoughts on that?

J-B Weld is great for securing the pad, but be careful! It sets fast, so you’ll need to position it perfectly the first time. It can be a bit unforgiving.

Good to know! I guess I should probably practice on an older pad before doing it on my Citori. Any advice on getting it off if I mess up?

If you need to remove a glued pad, using a heat source like a heat gun can help. It softens adhesive, making it easier to pry off without damaging the stock.

I’ve had great success with the Kick-Eez recoil pad on my Browning Citori. It significantly reduces recoil and feels very durable. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for comfort while shooting!

I totally agree! The Kick-Eez pad makes a noticeable difference. I actually shot for a whole day without that sore feeling afterward.

Has anyone tried the Limbsaver pad with their Citori? I’m curious about how it compares to Kick-Eez in terms of comfort and durability.

I’ve used the Limbsaver, and I found it effective too, but I think Kick-Eez is still better for overall recoil absorption.

I’ve also heard good things about the Pachmayr recoil pads. I wonder how they stack up against the others mentioned.

I tried Pachmayr on a different shotgun, and I liked it. But for the Citori, Kick-Eez is my go-to for sure.

I’m leaning toward the Kick-Eez as well, but durability over time is my main concern. How have they held up after regular use?

Great question! My Kick-Eez pad has held up very well after a couple of years. It still looks new, even after many rounds!

That’s reassuring! I want something that lasts without needing constant replacement.

Honestly, at times I just feel like I need a pillow on my shoulder instead of a recoil pad! Maybe I should just stuff my jacket!

Haha! I can relate! If only they made recoil pads with built-in pillows for comfort!
