I get that frustration, millerpatrick. I’ve had off days too, even on good dates. I’ve learned location matters just as much as timing. Perhaps try a new spot next time?
I’ve had amazing luck during the full moon phases that the Almanac notes. I love using live bait, especially worms, when the fish are most active.

You’re right, murraymelissa. Fishing’s more variable. Sometimes it’s the weather that sets the mood for fish! Planning helps but isn’t foolproof.
I love using crankbaits on the recommended days! I’ve caught a variety of fish using them, even when the Almanac didn’t predict a stellar day.
