Anyone else having barnett xp 400 problems?

This is all great info! I was thinking of tossing my XP 400 out the window! But, maybe it just needs some tweaks instead.

Don’t do that! It might take a little patience and adjustments to get it right.

I’ve been having some issues with my Barnett XP 400. It seems to misfire occasionally. Is this a common problem?

I faced similar issues. It turned out to be a tuning problem. I recommend checking the string alignment and adjusting the nocking point.

Don’t forget to lubricate the cams regularly! Lack of proper maintenance can cause many issues with performance.

Getting the right parts is crucial. I had to replace the string and cables after a year. It made a huge difference in handling!

Yes! I’ve replaced the string as well. It seems to fray quicker than expected. Any recommendations for durable replacements?

I found that the Barnett HyperFlite strings last much longer. It’s worth the investment!

I’ve had similar experiences! Ensure that you adjust the limb bolts periodically. They can easily get loose over time.

I wonder if anyone has upgraded their bow sights? If so, did it resolve any issues?

I’ve seen mixed reviews about aftermarket sights. Some people swear by them, while others have had trouble with installation issues.

Well, I guess if we all had the same experience, it wouldn’t be fun, right? A bit like a box of chocolates!
