I’ve had some challenges finding good hunting spots. Does anyone have recommendations for public hunting areas in Kentucky?

For a successful hunt, I recommend scouting areas in late summer when deer patterns are easier to spot. It made a big difference for me!

That’s a common struggle! My favorite spot is the Daniel Boone National Forest. Plenty of space and some nice deer out there!

I once forgot to print my tags before heading out. Talk about a panic! Always check your gear the night before your hunt!

Haha, that sounds stressful! I had a similar experience last year. Now I write everything down in a checklist.

Does anyone recommend specific bait? I’ve heard corn works well, but I’m curious about any other methods that have proven effective.

Corn is definitely popular, but I’ve had luck with apples too! They seem to draw deer in pretty well during the early season.

It’s a great time to reflect on past hunts! Remembering that big buck I got last year gives me motivation for this season. Good luck, everyone!
